Drawing on her expertise in plant and grass identification, Rachel prepares small-site BNG calculations and associated plans and maps for eligible sites across England. Using government-approved templates and software, she efficiently produces the calculations and landscape discharge drawings required for developments of 1–9 dwellings on sites of 0.2–0.5 hectares.

We will conduct a site visit to assess and record the baseline habitat and BNG calculations, then prepare the report and pre and post development maps designed to achieve the mandatory relevant local authority % uplift. This will inform the proposed landscape design and confirm if any off-site units are required.

We provide small-site BNG calculations, BNG Reports and maps that fully comply with local authority requirements and support the mandatory uplift, whether achieved onsite or offsite. Under the August 2026 legislative changes, all qualifying small sites can proceed directly to purchasing offsite credits.
